Palin Gets CNN To Finally Talk About Obama’s Terror Ties

This has been a great weekend.

Finally, someone in this campaign has the balls to call out sick connections on the side of Obama; sad to say, it had to be a woman.

The MSM and CNN are finally talking about it – of course to do damage control on their darling terror-loving, slumlord back-stratching candidate who wants to represent 300,000,000 Americans on November 4th.

Palin’s words may backfire on McCain; an article written by the AP proclaims.

Well, if telling the truth creates a backfire, then I am willing to accept it.

Ann Coulter and other brilliant Republicans led in a successful impeachment of Bill Clinton, resulting in massive years of Republican wins, who’s to say she won’t be able to do it again with Obama?  If America and the MSM refuse to fully acknowledge this disgrace now, it will happen sooner or later, I guarantee it.

CNN gives partial facts.  In fairness, they acknowledge that Obama and Ayers live in the same neighborhood and everyone already knows their kids go to the same schools.  They also acknowledge Ayers using his “credibility” in 2005 to sponsor a fundraiser for Obama and also being a major contributor to Obama’s state campaign.

But, that’s it!  They haven’t been connected since!  Not even a full three years later, Obama suddenly denounces Ayers’s actions because after all, poor Obama was only 8  when they happened.

Well, I hadn’t even been born yet.  I still think the man is repulsive and top this all off with the fact that in 2001, Ayers acknowledged all of the bombings they followed through on, not to mention the fact that he killed fellow members in the 60’s, he does not regret it and claims they didn’t do enough.

“I don’t regret setting bombs” and “I feel we didn’t do enough” – William Ayers in September of 2001.

Charges against him were dropped SOLELY because of liberal laws prohibiting “prosecutorial misconduct.”

That’s our country with liberal doings.  The only reason Ayers did not support and endorse Obama from a jail cell is because of “prosecutorial misconduct.”

This man is a criminal.  No matter where this election goes, we cannot let this one slip.

  1. It may have been quickly addressed, but now it’s becoming vivid only as a means to apply damage control to Obama.

  2. Steve Steve, when will you understand?

73% of the country opposed the impeachement of Bill Clinton. And no, sadly for you those weren’t 12-year olds answering the phones or statisticians making things up.

It’s time you realize where you are Steve, which is the minority. I’m sorry as a friend to have to say this but Bill Clinton was one of the most popular presidents ever and your denial of this is doing nothing but giving you a thin sense of comfort. Accept that which is beyond your control Steve. There is no bogeyman rigging the polls, and no, “common sense” does not override statistics.

Your party has intellectually bankrupted itself with an attitude of angry children who can do nothing but deny their asses off whenever they’re confronted with the truth.

Accept that which is beyond your control and you will be happier in the long run. I guarantee it.

Oh, and Al Gore won the popular vote, so hehe.

  3. Tom, Tom…..when will you understand, 50% of the people never even voted for Bill Clinton.

Is that a CBS news poll?

And perhaps if my party starts hanging around terrorists too, we can join the “intellectually-wealthy” tofu liberals in black goth clothing reading poetry and smoking clove cigarettes.

For now, we’ll muddle through. Thanks for the concern!

  4. BTW Steve-

Are those associations any more significant that those at the University of Illinois – Chicago? After all, Ayers is a distinguished professor there, and the university is state-funded. Would that, by your logic, disqualify the entire UIC faculty from ever becoming president? I mean, they’re “palling” around with him, right? Or, how about anyone who has taken one of Ayers’ courses? The entire state of Illinois? Heck, that’s worse. They’re paying him!

And what about the other members of the various boards? Or the guy who does Ayers’ taxes? Or his mailman?

    It’s a smear, Steve.

  5. The mailman and tax preparers are merely doing their jobs. They aren’t hosting fundraisers asking to be representatives of large populations and using people like this to do it.

    And I agree with you….

THE ONLY REASON AYERS IS NOT BEHIND BARS IS BECAUSE HE ESCAPED ON A TECHNICALITY OF “PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!”

Does it not bother you for one second that this man’s fundraiser and support would have been delivered from prison if it weren’t for that idiotic technicality.

What if Timothy McVeigh escaped on the same technicality and was offered a professorship at some liberal university.

DAMN RIGHT UIC is guilty of this. Since when does any University do what’s right?

This man KILLED people, Chen. His ignorance and stupidity, which he is unapologetic for, cost lives and destruction.

This is so frightening and the idea that you are passing it off so lightly makes my stomach hurt.

  6. Saturday, I woke to the news on my local AM station. In my waking fog, I heard Sarah say something about Obama and Ayers and the crowd booing her. I spent the day in dread that this might backfire. I didn’t hear the entire speech, but I hope she also tied in Pfeger, Wright and Rezco to show the pattern…

  7. “This man KILLED people, Chen. His ignorance and stupidity, which he is unapologetic for, cost lives and destruction.”

Excellent point Steve and sadly it is one that is lost on too many people. We do what we do in life. Whether we have to answer for it or not does not change the past.

As for Obama, I don’t see how in good conscience he can take money from a man who killed people and has no regrets about any of it. This is a man who wants to be President?

  8. “Are those associations any more significant that those at the University of Illinois – Chicago? After all, Ayers is a distinguished professor there, and the university is state-funded.”

I question the wisdom of those professors who choose to call Ayers a colleague. I question the Illinois system of higher education for hiring him.

When it comes to integrity you need to have it and people have to believe you have it. Obama may have integrity but I don’t see any regarding Ayers or the Rev. Wright for that matter.

  9. Chen Zen re: Ayers associations:

Obama’s political coming out party was held at Ayers’s house. That indicates more of a relationship than “employed at the same university”.

Political coming out parties don’t come cheap – the Ayers traitors seem to have invested a pretty penny in Obama.

I would not allow someone who had shot abortion doctors to hold a political coming out party for ME, and I’m pro-life. How is Obama somehow different?

  10. Steve-

Look, I’m not defending the guy. But the people who were killed were his fellow radicals. McVeigh killed hundreds, including innocent children. Not exactly comparable.

But this guilt by association stuff is coming off as pathetically desperate. It’s not like Obama was helping him build bombs, funding the building of bombs, or even anywhere near a bomb being built. We’re talking decades later here.

Oh well, if you think it will work, I say go for it.

  11. “I would not allow someone who had shot abortion doctors to hold a political coming out party for ME, and I’m pro-life. How is Obama somehow different?”

You beat me to the punch. I was thinking along similar lines.

“Look, I’m not defending the guy. But the people who were killed were his fellow radicals. ”

    Chen

You might see that as different. The law does not.

If any of you wish to know more about the Weather Underground then rent the documentary DVD by the same name. Not only were these people terrorists, they were also very naive.

They really thought they could start a violent revolution in the U.S. similar to the ones in Cuba and Angola. The U.S. with all of its social welfare is going to have a street by street shooting war? Yeah right.

  12. But the people who were killed were his fellow radicals.
I guess Officer Brian McDonnell doesn’t count then?

    That’s rather revolting.

  13. Did everyone read about how PROMINENT REPUBLICANS IN ILLINOIS worked with Bill Ayers for years, liked him, and couldn’t care less what he did 40 years ago (those with a rational brain understood that thousands and thousands and thousands of people were killed in Vietnam and that my friend was TERRORISM):

    http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/10/7/131120/885/357/622049

These same prominent republicans also like Barack Obama and think the current “gotcha politics” that the McCain ScarePain (ie campaign) is using against Barack is nonsense and ridiculous.

    Love it!

  14. Haha, hey Kay thanks for TWO laughs:

1.) For sourcing the Daily Kos. (That in and of itself gets 5 stars)

2.) For confirming that a reltionship with Ayers is despicable. Apparently if Kos didn’t think so, they wouldn’t have bothered with the story.

I thought the Democratic positions was that it wasn’t relevant?

There aren’t any Republicans in Illinois.

Not even a nice try, but thanks for the “input” nonetheless!

  15. “(those with a rational brain understood that thousands and thousands and thousands of people were killed in Vietnam and that my friend was TERRORISM)”

    kayinmaine

It was? Does this terrorism apply to U.S. soliders only or do the Viet Cong and Army of North Vietnam get included? What about General Vo Nguyen Giap? Was he the Osama Bin Landen of his day?

  16. kayinmaine, deaths resulting from war is not “terrorism”, it’s uh, WAR. You Libs like to lable all your enemies “terrorists”. Use a dictionary, look up the word, use it correctly. You look silly!

As for the CNN “truth squad” or whatever they call themselves, how can they keep a straight face? They’re like an ambulance rushing to save a victim – Obama – again and again and again.

Journalists? Does that title even mean anything anymore?

I will concede that Palin made a mistake in being so general and sarcastic in her remarks; it comes across as a smear, when all she has to do is be specific; the facts are all there (and increasingly so) so put the spotlight on them, stop with the catchy zingers and hit them outright with the facts!

Let CNN try and bandage that!

  17. Oh, and kayinmaine, yes the lovely Ayers couple have many passing, harmless associations. There’s a difference between aquaintances and people who work together to accomplish a goal; like reeducate (indoctrinate) local students, launch a political carreer, things of that sort. That’s the whole point! They are not merely “neighbors in passing”, they share a common vission of a socialist America.

    Open your eyes.

And BTW, Ayers was NO mere anti-war activist, I know the media likes to just leave it at that (it sounds so harmless). He (they) wishes to see America’s capitalist system torn down, in favor of a socialist system. He considers Hugo Chaves a great leader and has relations with him.

Rather than connecting the dots you are looking at a single dot and saying “what’s wrong with that harmless little thing?”

There is a bigger picture forming and we’ll soon know who Barack and Michelle Obama are.

  18. Steve “There aren’t any Republicans in Illinois.”

LOL! There is one I’ve seen him. You can’t miss him, hehe.

  19. Well you and your HOT BF are welcome at anytime to hang out with us!

Thank you so much for your nice words, guys!

You guys sounds like a lot of fun!
