Brighten a Little Girl’s Christmas

I haven’t had much energy for anything lately, but I couldn’t resist this.  It’s rare that a story brings tears to my eyes but this one did it.  Tip o’ the hat to Michelle Malkin for posting this.

4-year-old Hannah Garman was diagnosed with a rare, incurable brain tumor in October, just two years after her mother died of cancer.  When asked what she wanted for Christmas, she simply asked for “lots of cards.”  Someone close to the family sent out an email last week, and the word has spread.  You can never send too many.  Here’s the address:

Hannah Garman
259 North Reading Rd.
Ephrata, Pa. 17522

To my police, EMS and firefighter friends, send pictures of your crews.  Let’s give this girl’s family a Christmas they’ll never forget.
