To think, some actually compared Him to Reagan….

******Post Update******

In honor of our three visibly upset “progressives”, I am changing the “him” in the title of this post to “Him” since their Messiah only fell short of the great Ronald Reagan by 4 million viewers even though He spent dozens more on His party than our wonderful Reagan did (and since we all know just how much “progressives” love Biblical references).

After all, it’s the closest thing to afterglow they will ever experience. Let’s not ruin it for them completely.

As we now know, he spent much more on his inauguration than any other President.  We know that tatoo shops were giving out free tattos with his name on it.  We also know Pepsi even tried to cash in by having their logo resemble his.

At the end of the day, with all the media support, he still could not touch the ratings and numbers of viewers of Reagan’s inauguration.

Mr. Obama had 37.8M viewers for his overpriced shin dig.

But Mr. Reagan reigns supreme with 41.8M viewers.

The end could be drawing nearer and even if it all ended tomorrow, we can still see who the true great communicator was.

  1. “As we now know, he spent much more on his inauguration than any other President.”

Didn’t I already debunk this nonsense?

And why are you people still clutching to that rotting fleshbag, anyway? He’s dead, now let him and Satan be at peace…

  2. “Didn’t I already debunk this nonsense?”

You tried, but then I sourced the NY Times showing in detail that Obama’s is indeed the most expensive ever in history.

  3. Let it be noted that the populations are different.

This Reagan worshiping is just adorable:) You guys are glued to him like a 3-year old and a Power Rangers toy. The nation has moved on, and as the President put “I won”.

Republicans will forever cling to their messiah and they’re jealous that America has found a new one to admire. Get over it Repubs lol. It’s gonna be like this for a looong time…

  4. “The populations are different.”

LMAO. Was that when forced abortions began?

I dunno, it seems to me as each day passes, people really do start to see the comparisons to Reagan or FDR or Lincoln a bit over-the-top.

To earn the status of any of them, you accomplish as they did.

And you’re the one who seems a little touchy whenever one points out that.

It’s like watching a teenage girl in the 90’s when she is told that someone else was cuter than Justin Timberlake! “You’re just jealous, who cares what you think!?”

    LOL

  5. “You tried, but then I sourced the NY Times showing in detail that Obama’s is indeed the most expensive ever in history.”

I gave you two articles showing that Bush’s inauguration was more expensive that Obama’s, but I realize that it’s just easier for you to ignore reality that it is to face facts…

  6. Tom,

“This Reagan worshiping is just adorable You guys are glued to him like a 3-year old and a Power Rangers toy. The nation has moved on, and as the President put “I won”.”

    Hi-larious….

  7. “Steve:

You strike me as a moronic tool.”

Hey Thanks, Joe! You guys say the same thing about Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, they have more listeners and viewers than every DJ at Air America combined.

You say the same thing about Ann Coulter and Bill O’Reilly, yet Al Franken could not come close to selling books like either one could.

You see how liberals are – all you have to do is say “it is a statistical fact that more people watched Reagan’s inauguration than Obama’s”

Robert, Tom, and Joe reply “well, you know numbers meant something different back then!” “well, you know, not all minorities had TV’s this time.”

All but to say, Obama will never be a Reagan.

I point out a fact, they have a tantrum.

    See the correlation?

  8. “I gave you two articles showing that Bush’s inauguration was more expensive that Obama’s, but I realize that it’s just easier for you to ignore reality that it is to face facts…”

So then, I debunked your articles by the same sources you used – yet mine was written just last week proclaiming Obama’s to be the most expensive ever and you say they were more reliable and accurate years back?

Here’s what I think. I think they were proud at first, then realized just how stupid Obama looked afterward.

So, now they let you do their tail-chasing for them.

  9. Tom,

By the way, let Robert know what you think of wealth re-distribution and raising taxes.

Now’s your chance to prove that “libertarian” label, LOL.

  10. No need to get personal Steve.

And enough with the words like “tantrum” or “cry”. All you do is say things that correspond to the right wing cult of hyper masculinity and pejorativeness.

Obama’s approval rating is higher than Reagan’s ever was.

You guys have so little power left, it’s no wonder you’re all so bitter. Steve, as a friend I truly feel sympathetic. I hope you can cope with all of this just like I had to for so long.

    Love ya buddy

  11. Tom,

Are you crazy? Judging by the responses in this thread alone, this will be 50-times more fun than even Bill Clinton was.

I can see the townhall meetings now – the weeping and the hugging.

See, we study history long enough like the Depression and like the Carter years to know where this is going. Average Americans will be reminded yet again what happens under socialist policies and it will truly take a conservative to survive the years we have ahead of us.

It’s the folks who voted for Obama that think he’s going to pay their bills and send them welfare checks that I truly feel sorry for.

And if you are any kind of “progressive”, you would, too.

I have my business, and my family has saved up for rainy days. It’s never fun to do boring things like save your money, but it is indeed why certain people are going to survive this, and some will not.

  12. Steve, I have a confession to make….

Yes, I am a libertarian and oppose Obama’s plans to swallow the private sector, but I voted for him because he has the right social values, as in, keeping the separation of church and state alive, not executing people based on educated guesses as to their guilt, and not wanting to turn us into a pussy nation who needs to be protecting from having their feelings hurt(bans on flag-burning for example). Is that how tough you guys are? Waaah!! He burned a flag!! Waaah!!” Talk about a nanny state!

The Democrats, I believe, are America’s only hope to resist the theocratic “small government” movement.

Republicans seem to want to make this nation one of the least free on Earth (except money-wise…theoretically anyway…) and they expect me to vote for them?

    “Weeping and hugging”?

Enough Steve…Enough. You’re not masculine because you write these things on a blog ok? ^^

Sorry if I have an attitude. I’m trying to be civil hear but your pejorativeness just deserves some boldness.

As Obama put it…”I won, get over it…”

  13. “You say the same thing about Ann Coulter and Bill O’Reilly, yet Al Franken could not come close to selling books like either one could.”

Hmm, I wonder if either one of those windbags could ever be elected to the United States Senate. I think Franken wins on this one. Sorry…

I’d also like to point out that O’Reilly’s radio show is being cancelled because his shitty company’s stock is at $0.18

“All but to say, Obama will never be a Reagan”

Thank Christ for that, I don’t think the country could survive.

“So then, I debunked your articles by the same sources you used – yet mine was written just last week proclaiming Obama’s to be the most expensive ever and you say they were more reliable and accurate years back?”

What? You can’t debunk numbers, you clown. Those articles both stated in plain english, that the number used for Bush’s inauguration did NOT include the cost of security. What exactly are you trying to refute here?

  14. “You guys have so little power left, it’s no wonder you’re all so bitter. Steve, as a friend I truly feel sympathetic. I hope you can cope with all of this just like I had to for so long.”

I’m sure it’s difficult for them to deal with the fact that they’ve been marginalized. But, I’m sure they’ll have fun working themselves into a frenzy for the next four years, going after Obama harder than they did Clinton. But hey, Republicans love using tax dollars to fund political witch hunts…

  15. “Hmm, I wonder if either one of those windbags could ever be elected to the United States Senate. I think Franken wins on this one. Sorry…”

Not exactly. When Coleman won fairly, it was then Franken who filed a suit demanding a recount when miraculous numbers of absent-mystery ballots showed up. Franken then managed to steal the election by claiming to be the choice on ballots that had been crossed out and re-filled in 20-different times and a hundred more magically appeared from a Democrat poll-worker’s car.

Now, Coleman is exercising his right to recount and have the “mystery” ballots double-checked – using the same right Franken did – and suddenly Franken doesn’t want to stand for it?

Franken’s corner: One semi-successful book, one massively failed talk show on a bankrupt radio network, a failed debate with Ann Coulter, and a botched-sheisty win of an election.

Coulter’s corner: Five massive NY Times bestsellers, an Ivy League Education with honors, and a successful led impeachment against a standing President. All of which required national support, not just from Minnesota residents.

“I’d also like to point out that O’Reilly’s radio show is being cancelled because his shitty company’s stock is at $0.18”

I’d also like to point out that O’Reilly has at least 4 times the viewers of Keith Olbermann according to every Nielsen research poll conducted in the last 100 years.

“Thank Christ for that, I don’t think the country could survive.” [Obama in lieu of Reagan]

Actually, Reagan got us out of massive inflation, massive unemployment, and took on our new difficulties in the Mid-East thanks to Carter’s disloyalty to the Shah. What we have now is nothing compared to that, can you imagine how much faster Reagan could whip us into shape now?

As Ann Coulter pointed out in Dr. Phil as she wowed the audience, when Carter left office we had 52 Americans that were held hostage for 444 days, we had double-digit inflation, massive unemployment, and Reagan still managed to say nice things about Jimmy Carter without Carter being booed by the audience which was watched by 4 more million folks than Obama’s was.

Moreover; conservatives have not made movies or books dreaming of a Democrat’s assassination, yet you folks hysterically create some mindless fantasy that he is at some unique risk of assassination.

Reagan’s, Bush’s, and Bush Jr.’s inaugurations were met with crazy liberal protestors where Obama’s had none from the conservatives.

The venom in this country is coming from only one side as all of these examples show clearly.

“What? You can’t debunk numbers, you clown. Those articles both stated in plain english, that the number used for Bush’s inauguration did NOT include the cost of security. What exactly are you trying to refute here?”

You gave numbers from sectors in the case of Bush that the article from the NY Times which also says “the most expensive inaugaration in history” had not even gotten into. The fact is every news publication who uses “the most expensive inauguration ever” line as an act of pride to their “thrill up my leg” President confirms the fact you’ll never be able to refute.

  16. 1) Franken won. Your claim that he stole the election comes from listening to the radio. Honestly, you should get off of ur habit of listening to the radio for you facts and maybe start reading some books. Oh, and Coulter’s debunked tripe doesn’t count

2)Al Franken went to HARVARD, the best Ivy, Coulter went to Cornell, the worst. It’s odd that you would mention something that Franken beats her at in the column arguing that she is BETTER lmao.

    3) “Succesful” impeachment? Uh…that’s one way of putting something that failed lol. Last I remember he wasn’t convicted….;) Oh, and that caused Al Gore to win the popular vote! Hehe…

4)Nobody fantasized about Bush’s assasination. That movie you are referencing is presenting it as a BAD thing for the country.

    5) You’re talking about NATIONAL SUPPORT for Clinton’s impeachment? LMFAO. We already went over this Steve, 73% of the nation opposed it. Oh wait, let me guess, “common sense” overrides the polls right! lol. When neocons have lost in every possible way, they just their heads in the sand and deny, deny deny….”

    6) O’Reilly is actually starting to lose to Olbermann, not that I support either of them. Olbermann is just a worthless hack.

Oh, and btw, saying Bush kept us safe for 7 years is like saying ur Uncle hasn’t molested you for seven years. He did molest you, but only once…Just like Bush failed to protect us…It’s called 911. Clinton made mistakes too but that’s irrelevant. BUSH was President. He had the job of defending us and his mistakes were the ones the will mark his presidency. He failed to protect us from the worst terrorist attack ever. He was supposed to protect us for 8 years, not 7, and he failed.

He has the lowest approval rating in history, whereas Clinton had the highest for any outgoing president, with Obama having the highest of any INcoming president.

Also, just to show how much “national support” you guys had with Clinton’s impeachment, his approval ratings soared to higher that Reagan’s highest! lol. God bless America!

    Sincerely,

    your friend Tom

  17. 1.) Franken had the election recounted where hundreds of mystery ballots were counted over and over. He used his right to do that, now he is whining because Coleman who originally won without any mystery cross-out ballots is now challenging him.

2.) Coulter graduated with an awesome GPA, sold more books more times, and led a successful impeachment against Bill Clinton. Say, didn’t Bush go to Harvard, too? What’s your opinion on him again?

3.) It was successful enough to make you complain about it to this day and Whitewater simultaneously led out with 17 convictions. Say, how did that impeachment of GW Bush ever go?

4.) There was a documentary which leftists revered as free speech and a book. Nobody has done this about a liberal president, ever.

5.) You’re right, we have been over that. Miraculously you keep touting that Clinton had a high approval rating AFTER he was molesting the help – AFTER he could never in either election get 50% of the people to vote for him.

6.) That’s not true. O’Reilly has NEVER lost to Olbermann. But don’t take my word for it, check the Nielsen numbers for yourself: http://tvbythenumbers.com/category/ratings/top-news/cable-news

“Oh, and btw, saying Bush kept us safe for 7 years is like saying ur Uncle hasn’t molested you for seven years.”

What a strange analogy. In any case, if we must speak that way, you could say we were molested six times by Clinton (seven if you count the time he did it to Monica, and eleven if you count those nameless black hookers in D.C.) and he saved the best one for eight months after he left office. As I’ve factually pointed out and you are free to refute, since our struggles with the Middle East since the hostage crisis in 1979, we sustained numerous attacks on our interests….the seven years we did not have ONE under GW Bush was the longest span of peace ever sustained by a President since 1979 in terms of Muslim attacks on Americans or our interests.

It started with Carter and it ended with 9/11 all because one President decided enough was enough with this liberal nonsense that has destroyed our CIA since the post-watergate years. Which raises another point that nothing Bush could have done before 9/11 like throwing Arabs out of the country, detaining them, or allowing airports to surveil more than two per flight would have been supported by you anyway.

“He has the lowest approval rating in history, whereas Clinton had the highest for any outgoing president”

No doubt, given by networks that had to recall entire exposes on Bush’s military service or exploding GM trucks.

“his [Clinton] approval ratings soared to higher that Reagan’s highest!”

And miraculously, Reagan won in two historic landslides and Clinton could never get 50% of the vote.

    Thank God for real polls.

    Your friend,
    Steve

  18. You have a strange definition of “successful” Steve lol. Are u talking about the impeachment that didn’t work? That’s a “success”? Hmm… so John McCain “successfully” ran for President I suppose 😉

Complaining? Lol Who’s complaining? Thank you for you “successful” impeachment of our President Steve. Without that he couldn’t have beat Reagan in approval ratings!

Oh, btw, isn’t it odd how you mock Clinton for never winning a majority whereas Bush didn’t even win the POPULAR VOTE? LMAO. And to think, somehow you guys find it in you to point to that as proof that this country is conservative! So why didn’t they actually vote for him in that case? Why was his only hope against Clinton’s successor nothing more than an electoral fart? At least Clinton won the popular vote. Oh, and the reason he didn’t win a majority was because of wealthy third-party candidates like Perro. But statistically, if you examine his second win, it counts as a majority given that without the third party candidates he would’ve gotten enough extra votes transferred to him to put him over the top.

Just imagine what Reagan’s “landslide” would’ve been like if he there was an alternative opponent to the one who proudly promised to raise taxes in the middle of a recession! Or Jimmy Carter, who was just unpopular. It’s a fact that Mondale’s poll numbers hit the floor exactly at the time he made that promise.

And Coleman is doing nothing but making up unproven “Double-counting” allegations. (The same man who said Franken should stop the recount in the name of unity) 😉

Btw, isn’t it funny how when liberals claim Bush cheated they’re just “sore losers” whereas neocons claim Franken cheated that’s just correct?

    That god for logic! lol

  19. “Are u talking about the impeachment that didn’t work?”

We must be talking about different impeachments. The one I am talking about is precisely why all of Al Gore’s “people” begged him to distance himself from Clinton and precisely why Al Gore lost.

“Without that he couldn’t have beat Reagan in approval ratings!”

Oh, you must be talking about CBS news polls again. Lord, isn’t one mediocre presidential win enough for you guys? Reagan won popular and electoral in two landslides because he was awesome. The only thing extraordinary about Obama is the thrill he sends up Olbermann’s leg. Say didn’t Obama go to Harvard, too?

“Hmm… so John McCain “successfully” ran for President I suppose”

No, and thank God for that, he was just as liberal as Obama. At least now we cannot blame the failure of the next four years on Republicans.

“somehow you guys find it in you to point to that as proof that this country is conservative! So why didn’t they actually vote for him in that case?”

Actually, with the exception of the abortion ladies, and that he was a horny hick – Bill Clinton was a centrist. Yeah he raised taxes, but he signed NAFTA. Yeah, he raised taxes, but he attempted to shut down welfare. Yeah, he didn’t respond to relentless attacks by Muslims, but he did bomb an aspirin factory.

In the case of an attack, Obama will immediately take a tour of Mecca.

“And Coleman is doing nothing but making up unproven “Double-counting” allegations.”

So, you’re taking the word of the worker who happens to be a Democrat who had “uncounted” ballots in her car the entire time?

    Don’t answer that.

Hey, did you hear Obama is closing down Guantanamo with no plans of what happens to the detainees?

Speaking of that, let’s take a look at an article released by the AP today about two previous released inmates from Guantanamo showing up in a recent Al-Queda video:

    http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hZfIcWnHqBz4kQR90lC_pXaHeW4Q

You’re right about one thing, at least Clinton would not have been that dumb.

  20. Wow Steve, not to get personal, but do you have mental issues? Or do you just have a bad memory?

Let me say this again…Al Gore…won…the popular vote…

So… how could you analyze his loss as being a result of popular support if he won the popular vote?

“CBS” Poll? Lol. I’ll play by your logic now! Reagan “won” you say? Did you hear that from Fox News? HAhAHA! Reagan lost, everybody know that!

That was kinda fun lol but I’ll go back to being serious now…

Steve, all you can do you deny reality because you can’t accept it. You must learn to deal with life’s defeats as well as victories.

“Thank god” McCain lost you say? LOL I knew this would happen. Didn’t you have a “McCain/Palin” banner on this very sight just a few months ago?? LOL OOOOO, I’m sorry, that must have embarrassed you quite a bit…;) Didn’t you brag about when he was ahead in the po-… wait, it’s still on this site!!! lol. You have archives!

God, you might wanna buy one of those programs that “shreds” documents into oblivion, least anyone actually know you’ve been let down by the election 🙂

Oh, and just to remind you…… Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….

  21. You’re very slow, so I’ll say it 20 more times….

    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….
    Al…Gore…won…the…popular….vote….

  22. “Wow Steve, not to get personal, but do you have mental issues? Or do you just have a bad memory?”

You know, he did win because Bush didn’t even bother campaigning in heavy Democrat states like California or New York. What can I say, it must be something about the air from the ocean.

No, I didn’t use a Fox News poll for anything I said. I used real elections and actual votes cast.

If I used your logic, I suppose I could toss that away and use Fox News polls all day. Oh but wait, according to a media research poll conducted a few months ago, Fox was rated the most fair among the networks. Therefore, their polls probably wouldn’t be right-winged enough for me.

“Didn’t you have a “McCain/Palin” banner on this very sight just a few months ago?”

Yes I did. But it was only in support of one of them. If you scroll up, you’ll see the new banner that represents her name now that the dead weight is gone.

“God, you might wanna buy one of those programs that “shreds” documents into oblivion”

My name is not Sandy Berger and I do not work for the Clinton administration.

  23. You didn’t explain your article bragging about McCain’s surge? 😉

    PLEASE RUN PALIN! PLEEEASE!!!

Huh? Now you’re trying to excuse the fact that Bush lost the popular vote? LOL. Hey! I’ll play that game too….nah…I can handle defeat. Bush meaningfully beat Kerry, why don’t you brag about that instead? Bush was too radical for this country, he could only win the pop vote against someone whose campaign was flawed from endless flip-flopping and lies on his military service….

And what do you have against the good people of California and New York? Those “crazy blue” states are the most important ones btw. Ask anyone around the world what “New York” is, and then ask them what “Utah” is. They’ll be able to answer one of those…. The “Crazy” blue states are the capitals of commerce and American culture. Red states are just getting a free ride of their prosperity. CA produces ipods, google, your favorite movies and tv shows, etc. Red staters love benefiting from all the goods and services we create and invent, without doing anything themselves.

What’s with the attitude Steve? Why must you get so condescending just because it’s politics?

As Randy Newman said, “You got a friend in me…”

  24. “You didn’t explain your article bragging about McCain’s surge?”

That’s because I explained it then, and I’ll explain it now. It was Sarah Palin’s speech at the RNC and then Palin’s debate against Biden that brought McCain both bumps. Hey, if you don’t believe me, ask any liberal like yourself. They insist he lost because of Sarah Palin. As we now know, doing the opposite of what liberals think is generally the best policy for America.

“Huh? Now you’re trying to excuse the fact that Bush lost the popular vote? LOL. Hey! I’ll play that game too….nah…I can handle defeat. Bush meaningfully beat Kerry, why don’t you brag about that instead?”

Well, California is a big contributor to the popular vote. When it was Reagan’s country, you see the overwhelming popular vote was astounding when Reagan in both terms got California’s popular vote. So, if Bush thought that it was pointless and didn’t even bother campaigning there, it has something do with it. Plus, his defeat of Kerry is simply because Bush got more votes for the GOP ticket in Ohio and Florida in those years making up for the loss of Californians and New Yorkers.

“And what do you have against the good people of California and New York?”

LOL, replace “California and New York” with “Alaska” and you just quoted Sarah Palin.

“What’s with the attitude Steve? Why must you get so condescending just because it’s politics?”

I am not cruel. We’re having a discussion as two friends.

Hey if you didn’t like it, you wouldn’t be back and we wouldn’t have conversed this long.

  25. Actually Steve, you’re not going to like this, but Obama recovered from his fall in the polls BEFORE the economic meltdown and immediately after Palin’s interview with Couric. That interview of which she is now calling “unfair” lol. I can’t believe she actually said “Well Katie, you’re not the center of the universe”, in response to what Couric said on Letterman about it being frustrating that she couldn’t answer a question.

HOW DARE THAT PEASANT ASK A QUESTION OF QUEEN PALIN!!! BURN HER AT THE STAKE!!!

Lol. This whiney loser wants to be president hahaha! As Dick Morris said (selectively about Hllary of course) “What happens when the ‘big boys’ in Russia or Cuba pick on you? Is she going to whine and complain then?”

Btw Steve, about the polls changing after Couric’s interview, I got that from Fox News, so…yea…sucks for u my friend…:(

  26. “HOW DARE THAT PEASANT ASK A QUESTION OF QUEEN PALIN!!! BURN HER AT THE STAKE!!!”

That’s Princess Palin to you. She’s not as old as Hillary, remember?

How about you do this for me….give me the answer to Obama’s question about what he reads (aside from William Ayers novels) and his book report on Supreme Court cases, because I am sure Katie asked him those questions, too.

Also, explain their relevance in a way that they did not apply to Obama. In other words, it’s not feasible to make the case that we knew less about Palin than Obama since Palin at least came with a resume of executive experience, so why was it important to ask her those questions and not him?

  27. “Not exactly. When Coleman won fairly, it was then Franken who filed a suit demanding a recount when miraculous numbers of absent-mystery ballots showed up. Franken then managed to steal the election by claiming to be the choice on ballots that had been crossed out and re-filled in 20-different times and a hundred more magically appeared from a Democrat poll-worker’s car.”

Oh boy, bring out the crazies! Where do I start? Well, first, Franken did not file suit to have a recount. Minnesota law requires a recount if the vote is within a half percent, which it was. So you’re wrong there. Second, the only ballots that were challenged by either candidate had to be agreed upon by BOTH candidates in order to have them counted. And of course, now that Coleman lost, he wants the other challenged ballots to allowed because he thinks it will be in his favor. Also, the right wing talking point that ballots were found in the trunk of a democratic poll worker’s car turned out to be false. Lastly, only in the mind of a neocon would counting every vote be considered stealing an election…

“Now, Coleman is exercising his right to recount and have the “mystery” ballots double-checked – using the same right Franken did – and suddenly Franken doesn’t want to stand for it?”

Again, according to Minnesota law, an automatic recount is triggered if the results are within 1/2%. I’d also like to point out that Coleman was the first candidate in the race to file a lawsuit, not Franken.

“Coulter’s corner: Five massive NY Times bestsellers, an Ivy League Education with honors, and a successful led impeachment against a standing President. All of which required national support, not just from Minnesota residents.”

I’m sorry, she led an impeachment against whom? She has absolutely no power, and I’d be remiss if I failed to mention that the impeachment of Clinton failed to have the support of the majority of the country, and that he enjoyed a very high approval rating, even in the midst of being tried on trumped up charges…

“I’d also like to point out that O’Reilly has at least 4 times the viewers of Keith Olbermann according to every Nielsen research poll conducted in the last 100 years.”

First, neither program has been on the air for that long, second, I was talking about O’Reilly’s radio program, and third, try looking at the key demographic for that, you’ll be sadly disappointed…

“Actually, Reagan got us out of massive inflation,”

    Caused it

    “massive unemployment,”

    Caused it

“and took on our new difficulties in the Mid-East thanks to Carter’s disloyalty to the Shah.”

By giving massive amounts of weapons to sworn enemies of the United States? Man, how could I have missed that. You’re right, Steve, he did a heck of a job (which, as we all know, is the kiss of death).

“As Ann Coulter pointed out in Dr. Phil as she wowed the audience, when Carter left office we had 52 Americans that were held hostage for 444 days:

Again, the solution was to trade arms for hostages. Reagan’s people were in contact with the Iranians to keep our citizens held hostage until after the election in exchange for tons of weapons. Those hostages were released literally the minute Reagan had his slimy tentacle on the bible. Bill Casey was all set to testify to Congress about this, and lo and behold, the very morning he was to testify, he suffered a massive “seizure”, and was taken to the hospital, where it was revealed that he was given a lobotomy and rendered speechless. Where the hell do you think the term “November Surprise” comes from?

“Reagan’s, Bush’s, and Bush Jr.’s inaugurations were met with crazy liberal protestors where Obama’s had none from the conservatives”

That’s because even conservatives were fed up with the direction their bullshit party had taken…

“You gave numbers from sectors in the case of Bush that the article from the NY Times which also says “the most expensive inaugaration in history” had not even gotten into. The fact is every news publication who uses “the most expensive inauguration ever” line as an act of pride to their “thrill up my leg” President confirms the fact you’ll never be able to refute.”

Which is exactly why you should never bitch about a “liberal media” ever again. If they were doing their jobs, they would never report such a misleading story as “most expensive inauguration”, because they’re using that number, which includes all the costs of security. You will remember, Steve, that the article points out the government spent $115.5 million on security and other things, and that the $42 million figure did not include the cost of security, etc. that the $115.5 million was for. I really wish you’d stop being so insidiously disingenuous, and look past headlines to get the truth. Too much to ask though, right?

  28. The truth the opposite of what ur saying Steve. It’s precisely because Obama worked on the Federal level that he was exempt from such questions because the answers could be taken from a simple gander at his record. It would be Palin’s first time at a national level, so she is subject to a different set of questions. Also, she is a hypocrite for exploiting her own kids to trot her “family values” while condemning Tina Fey for mocking them. Btw, there’s a reason Tina Fey won Entertainer of the Year for that impression…

Also, when I say Obama is accomplished, I mean legislatively. He’s got his legacy marked on tons of major reform legislation ranging from fixing your state’s broken death penalty system to nuclear proliferation with Dick Lugar.

Also, Huckabee said himself that Palin’s interview was fair. She has to stop whining. If you run her Steve I’m warning that you’re gonna see conclusively just how alone the religious right really is…

Also, Robert makes a great point about Franken. Republicans have no sense of truth, they listen to talk radio telling them what they wish was the case rather than any balanced point of view(Oh! except Fox News of course…)

  29. “Well, first, Franken did not file suit to have a recount. Minnesota law requires a recount if the vote is within a half percent, which it was.”

Of course Franken did not have to file a suit in order to have a bogus recount with Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie on his side. Much like Franken’s key to success (since we know it is not with listeners or book sales), Ritchie was still paying off old debts to whack job George Soros who contributed $250,000 to Ritchie’s campaign on Septmber 2, 2006.

Which is precisely why the poor residents of Minnesota wound up paying over $100,000 for a hacked recount where the Secretary of State actually used election night results from a handful of cherry-picked precincts that would have helped Franken while simultaneously churning out mystery ballots in precincts that Coleman won in – from a campaign worker’s car? A recount was done in a Democratic precinct near the University of Minnesota but that precinct in and of itself came up with a 43 count deficit for Franken. Being that it was the fastest to recount, Franken, Soros, and Ritchie immediately ceased all recounting in larger Democratic precincts with the fear of the same thing happening.

Funnily enough, you didn’t mind Al Gore having ballots recounted 13 times before he finally gave up the ship. Did Katherine Harris cherry-pick precincts?

What is the point of a re-count, Robert? $100K for a recount, but not everything is re-counted because not all of it is good news? So much for Democracy and so much for responsible spending. Are you seriously trying to pass me off as crazy when I just spelled out what precisely you call common sense?

“Again, according to Minnesota law, an automatic recount is triggered if the results are within 1/2%.”

But nowhere does it say we get to pick the precincts.

“I’m sorry, she led an impeachment against whom? She has absolutely no power,”

Against Bill Clinton, in case you weren’t paying attention or ever heard of that magnificent book: “High Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

This book led Donahue, the big liberal girl, to say to Ann on his show: “you’re proud of whatcha did to Bill and Hill aren’t ya? You impeached the guy….” Then went on to accuse her: “you played taped conversations of Monica and Linda Tripp at your dinner parties, didn’t you?”

He did everything but cry. Ann had an excellent appearance last week on Dr. Phil where she was actually allowed to talk this time. She blew Alan Colmes up and strapped Scott McClellan a good one, you should have seen his face. Interestingly, you’re not going to find it on youtube because liberals are unable to say “Ann Coulter gets pwned by Dr. Phil” among the other very clever things they come up with.

She’s going to be great in the next eight years, that’s for sure. You guys already get mad when someone merely points out that Reagan won by bigger landslides than Obama and had a more-watched inauguration. Just wait until the good stuff starts.

“Caused it” [Reagan, inflation & unemployment]

Are you high? When Jimmy Carter left office, inflation was at double digits. When he left office, national interest rates were 21% and unemployment was about 4 times what it is now. Really, how can you say Reagan caused it when he hadn’t been President yet? Come out from moonland, please.

“Again, the solution was to trade arms for hostages. Reagan’s people were in contact with the Iranians to keep our citizens held hostage until after the election in exchange for tons of weapons. Those hostages were released literally the minute Reagan had his slimy tentacle on the bible. ”

No, it was not for weapons you moron. Carter allowed the Shah of Iran to be deposed of by a group of Islamic nuts. Much like you want to be friends with the guys at Gitmo today, Carter tried embracing the new leadership while simultaneously allowing the deposed Shah into our country for cancer treatment at the Mayo clinic. His new “friends” found out and got pissed – then stormed our embassies. Iran knew Reagan didn’t play those games….just liked the Soviets knew when he had an arsenal of missiles pointed right at Moscow. Suddenly they became sweet little lambs.

I wonder what will happen when your new friends at Gitmo will find out you support abortion or gay marriage. That’ll be a discussion I’ll want to see.

The fact is if the conspiratorial fantasy you have created in your head with regard to Reagan were true, you’d have to convince us that he was first friends with the Islamic nuts and conspired to overthrow the Shah with them. Honestly, Robert – even you aren’t that crazy. I suppose you could find a member of Jihad and ask them, though right now they may be a little difficult to reach. But then there is always Howard Dean.

“That’s because even conservatives were fed up with the direction their bullshit party had taken…” [as to why liberals act like babboons when they watch their opposition]

Conservatives were not booing. Conservatives do not boo. We don’t throw food at Michael Moore or Al Franken on college campuses. We don’t douse them with salad dressing. We don’t storm the stages when we don’t like something like over-reacting girls running after the New Kids on the Block. It’s because the vile, the lies, and the venom sits on your side. It always has.

Good thing Ann Coulter proved how good liberals are at hitting a target, eh?

Robert, I had already read that response by Media Matters regarding the alleged $115M, the writer of that refutation simply took the word of one news source, then took the costs for clean up, and the $42M and took it upon himself to sum up those three numbers. None of those numbers (with the exception of the $42M) were confirmed by the inaugural committee nor the District of Columbia.

Speaking of spending, did you hear that tomorrow your Messiah is going to allow states to pass their own emissions laws meaning that in liberal leaning states, it will be virtually impossible to start your car unless you have the money to buy a hybrid?

What’s next, all the poor people living in those states going to get free new cars or hybrids subsidized by taxpayer money so they can drive to work? LOL. I don’t know which one is more funny, giving them free cars, or them actually driving to work.

  30. If you think u guys don’t boo Steve, then just look at a McCain rally and listen whenever he mentions Obama! Though in your defense you may not have been able to hear the booing over the calls for Obama’s head to be cut off.

Also, as Maher pointed out, McCain’s supporters were booing at his concession speech, but Kerry’s supporters weren’t at his.

Now of course your booing has turned into boo-hooing 😉

Reagan’s victories were pointless. It’s a statistical fact that he only beat Mondale because he promised to raise taxes. He was ahead in the polls before that and then he took a nosedive right after… Those “CBS” polls or whatever you’ll call them in ur next messsage, were confirmed with Reagan’s victory.

What’s the point of this Reagan worshipping? You do know he’s dead don’t you? Lol. Poor neocons… all they had was a wannabe soldier who dodged combat while getting credit for being tough because he played one in movies. Or was it because he just talked tough?

Also, you seem very bigoted against the poor Steve, it’s not very becoming of you. I’m a libertarian because I support the poor and I know that the free market is the best way to lift ppl out of poverty, but you’re just shooting OUR cause in the foot…

And enough with this idiotic rhetoric about ppl “crying”. Who’s crying? Sarah Palin seems to be taking her loss pretty hard lol! I wonder what you’ll say when she loses….

The GOP is so predictable. I knew that they would be saying during the whole campaign season that Obama was gonna lose for his “radical associations”, which Limbaugh actually said specifically, that he predicted his loss, and Hannity kept bragging everyday about how the polls are gonna be proven wrong and blah blah blah, and yet on election day when Obama wins, they were gonna pretend that knew it all along!

“Obama will lose what should have been in the bag for him, because of his radical associations.”
    -Rush Limbaugh, before the election

“McCain’s whole campaign was a concession speech!”
    -Rush Limbaugh, 4/5/2008

“McCain could win 40 states (laughing)”
    -Dick Morris, last summer

  31. “If you think u guys don’t boo Steve, then just look at a McCain rally and listen whenever he mentions Obama! Though in your defense you may not have been able to hear the booing over the calls for Obama’s head to be cut off. ”

LOL. Nobody called for Obama to be murdered. Plus, the alleged “terrorist” remark was never proven. But even so, in a room of your own people, that’s a little different.

When Reagan said decent things about Carter, he went on much longer than Obama did about Bush, yet nobody had booed Jimmy Carter. How many boos did we hear about Bush during Obama’s inauguration? That is incredibly shocking that the left has become that hateful to throw all decency and class out the window with regard to any two-term President.

“Also, as Maher pointed out, McCain’s supporters were booing at his concession speech, but Kerry’s supporters weren’t at his.”

Again, they were in a room with their own people. Nobody booed Jimmy Carter in 1980 and nobody booed Bill Clinton in 2000. Moreover; no Republican protestors have ever shown up to make trouble at any liberal’s inauguration.

“What’s the point of this Reagan worshipping?”

It’s not “worshipping” to point out that a media fad like Obama did not get the respect or the same level of attention that Reagan did.

It is “worshipping” to act like a girl though in response. If you were so solid in your position, my pointing these facts out wouldn’t bother you so much.

“Also, you seem very bigoted against the poor Steve”

I’m only bigoted against the ones who pretend to be poor so they don’t have to work. I’m also bigoted against phony victims. Both of which liberals are good at concocting.

Plus, my Christian institutions like Catholic Charities have been in operation for years helping the true poor and the true victims in lieu of using them to raise taxes on folks who work for a living.

What do we call people who do nothing to help the poor but those who want working Americans to pay for the poor? We call them liberals.

“Sarah Palin seems to be taking her loss pretty hard lol!”

Actually she’s negotiating a whopping 11 million dollar book deal right now and still gets as many hits as Obama on Google News. Her VP debate got more viewers [70 million] than either of Obama’s debates or even his inauguration! Plus, Tina Fey has much to thank her for.

Hey, Sarah’s going to have some bucks now. Maybe someday she can donate to a liberal’s inauguration fund. Whaddya think?

Finally, the media did not discuss Obama’s radical associations until the very end. Most of us were living in the real world trying to get all the information possible, meanwhile Katie Couric wants to know if Sarah Palin reads Vogue.

Yes, those are beginning to come out now. But the media is still doing their darndest to protect him. They know though, their time is running short.

  32. The calls for Obama’s head to be cut off along with the accusations of “Terrorist” are on tape steve.

If you were more solid in your ground you wouldn’t have to resort to condescending rhetoric.

    Let me try…

cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry crycry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry

And what is it with this media boogeyman? Lol. Honestly u repubs do nothings but whine about everything. The media loved Reagan. At the Republican primary debate in the Reagan Library there was on display Reagan’s actual diary, to which Anderson Cooper said “I better not touch it”, which, as Maher pointed out, was hillarious in its ridiculous worship.

Look Steve, neither Reagan nor Obama are the messiah, but Dems aren’t the ones saying “What would Obama do?”, nope, that’s Hannity regarding Reagan.

I also notice that you brag about his charm and yet attack Obama voters for admiring that of Obama! Lol. Can’t have it both ways Steve.

The media hasn’t been protecting him at all! Lol. America laughed about the nonsensical “associations” as if it was supposed to sway them lol. The media has more important issues to worry about than who someone Obama once sat on a board with once dedicated a book to. 😉

It’ll be fun seeing Obama erase your right-wing gains 🙂

  33. Ugh. Too many of you think the President of the U.S. (whomever that is) rules by decree. A simple swipe of the pen and its done.

It’s a three act show people. The House and Senate co-star in this extravaganza and we the audience eat it up.

Oh how we decry Earmarks (unless they benefit our area of the country). We want a Balanced Budget as long as the other guys gets screwed not us.

Until this attitude of don’t screw you, don’t screw me, go and screw the guy behind the tree ends, nothing will really change in this nation no matter who is running it.

Change doesn’t being with Obama, it begins with all of us.

  34. Tom,

Grow up. The “murderous” accusations of Obama are your fantasy and not on tape. No Republican has ever advocated that kind of crap.

It is you who defends flag burning, abortion, and anything else offensive to our nation’s fabric. So do not try and correlate violence against a standing President on someone like me. As much as I truly detest Hussein, you’d never see me defend a movie or a book that dreams of him being assassinated.

All I did in the start of this post was shown the facts…

The fact that Reagan had more viewers for his inauguration.

The fact that he won by bigger landslides.

The fact that Obamamania is fad-like and not like oatmeal that is going to stick.

The fact that Sarah Palin’s debate got more viewers.

How can I be crying when I am simply stating facts? You nor Robert could not even acknowledge those facts without kicking and screaming.

And here we are 36 comments later when in essence, both of you could have read the factual statistics and said “okay, cool.”

    But for some reason…….

  35. -“Grow up. The “murderous” accusations of Obama are your fantasy and not on tape. No Republican has ever advocated that kind of crap.”

Apparently you don’t seem to be aware what it means to be “on tape”. It can be viewed at that magic box of your that shows moving pictures with sound.

How is abortion against the nation’s fabric? LOL. Let me point out that every anti-abortion measure on the ballots in the past years failed. CA voted 3 times to uphold the safety of a minor in not requiring her to inform her parents of an abortion, but hey, that’s just crazy California right? Well, South Dakota voted TWICE to uphold the right to abortion, and it’s the most PRO-LIFE STATE!!! The second ban even gave a provision to rape victims, but the voters rejected it in the name of common sense limited intervention into ppl’s personal lives.

Also, I can’t believe you say I’m “pro-flag burning”. You’re so childlike your arguments w/ ur personal attacks. If you were solid in ur ground you wouldn’t say things like that. The fact that the GOP wants to ban something because they get offended by it just shows how “macho” they are lol. “Waaah!!! *sniff* mommy government could you please put him on a time out for burning a flag? *sniff*” Honestly man, grow up! Talk about the nanny state…

Banning something just bc it’s unpopular is against the entire point of the first ammendment. There should be a remedial school for Republicans to learn constitutional law.

“Free speech” does not mean speech that doesn’t make you cry. You cannot ban something just because it makes you cry Steve…If you could then the inaugaration would have been cancelled 😉

Also, for the land of the free to even THINK about something so cartoonishly fascist is amazing to me…Thank god common sense prevailed and flag-burning wasn’t banned. If it were than the entire point of FREEDOM(the be free to express yourself despite it being unpopular) would be kaputt.

Actually, there should be a special education program to teach Republicans about what freedom means, because what you seem to be advocating in banning flag burning is, to sum it all up, cowardly, suicidally contradictory to America’s rhetoric, fascistic.

The viewers of the Palin debate almost unanimously said Biden won. And of COURSE it got more viewers u nut! lol. You seem to mistake viewership with likeability.

She got more viewers because she was CONTROVERSIAL, and made Democrats more eager to see how Biden would do against her. Controversial people, especially when shown with their opponents, get more viewers because everyone is more charged regardless of politics.

Steve, you’re getting personal, but I forgive you. It’s a rough season for ya buddy. How are you these days? Why aren’t you ever on FB anymore? You’re breaking my heart 😦 Btw, did you c how I tagged you in that picture with all the bunnies? ^__^

  36. “How is abortion against the nation’s fabric?”

The fact that it kills would-be future Americans and your own President says “it’s above his paygrade” to determine when life begins – yet he and you refuse to err on the side on life as a decent person would do. So yes, it contributes to detroying the nation’s fabric.

Honest to Christ, we’re talking about the fact that you cannot defend the life of a baby who did nothing wrong, but you’ll defend flag-burning and criminals on death row.

“The fact that the GOP wants to ban something because they get offended by it just shows how “macho” they are lol. ”

Actually no, we should be able to rely on the innate goodness of folks, but laws are made to force it….my Constitutional Right to peace without crazies around me. Flag-burning laws are not national, they are under various jurisdicitions and municipalities. There isn’t anything wrong with that.

Again, Tom – YOU are the one who came to me with the problem you had with those laws to begin with. YOU are the one that wanted to US government to put those people “on a time out” for enacting those laws in those various municipalities. YOU were the one whining about “under God” and anti-flag burning laws.

Get over it. Majority of the folks support “under God” just as they support laws that prevent public displays of flag burning.

“There should be a remedial school for Republicans to learn constitutional law.”

That’s redundant. My right to not be offended trumps your right to burn a flag on a public street. Burn a flag on your property, in your yard – just keep it off the streets where it is not a fire hazard to others or offensive to the majority.

“Thank god common sense prevailed and flag-burning wasn’t banned.”

But it is illegal in many jurisdictions. I know, living in San Francisco and all kind of has you a tad bit disconnected from the rest of us.

“The viewers of the Palin debate almost unanimously said Biden won.”

Not true. But moving ahead, are you honestly telling me that 70 million people tuned in to watch Joe Biden? LOL.

See what I mean? I tell you that Tina Fey got a boost, SNL got its highest ratings in years, the VP debate was the single most televised political event in history – you immediately stamp your feet about it.

Plus, I’m relying heavy on you and Robert to keep calling her stupid. All of these things wrapped into one is precisely why her name remains at the top of this page. 😉

“She got more viewers because she was CONTROVERSIAL, and made Democrats more eager to see how Biden would do against her.”

LOL, so it WAS because of Biden? Hahaha. She got more viewers because Americans really like her. Next time, we’ll have to run her without that dead-weight McCain.

“Steve, you’re getting personal, but I forgive you. It’s a rough season for ya buddy. ”

I didn’t get personal and it is tax season – so you’re right it is a bit tough, but I – like other Republicans – work solid 12-15 hours a day to keep my little flimsy business going. But I am thankful and blessed for my clients as well.

I go on FB all the time.

  37. “How is abortion against the nation’s fabric? ”

A man gets to choose to have or not have sex. Once he has made his choice, he is stuck with the result. He doesn’t get a do over. He doesn’t get to walk away if a baby is made.

Women however can choose to have sex or not just like a men. But they aren’t always stuck with the result. They get choices. Men don’t. That’s discrimination. When did discrimination become part of our national fabric?

When I first moved to CA in the late 1980’s I had a coworker who got his girlfriend pregnant. He was willing to be a stand up adult and make good on his obligations. But his girlfriend did not want a baby and she got an abortion over his 0bjections. He was powerless to stop her.

If you (or any person) are all right with the above then there is something really wrong with that way of thinking.

  38. Are we talking about “Under God” now? lol That’s new!

You seem to not understand that controversial figures tend to magnetize everyone’s attention. I was excited to watch SNL when she was on it because as someone I dislike so strongly I felt she was interesting.

In fact, you actually use my logic to brag when it’s about a liberal going to an Ann Coulter speech. You keep saying that liberals also listen to Hannity and Limbaugh because they’re “obsessive” or whatever, and yet when the same “obesessive”, or “pathetic” liberals watch Palin for the same reason they do other nutbags like Hannity, you say it’s because they like her! Hmm… You’re contradicting urself! lol

Where does the constitution protect u from “crazies” Steve? Hmm? I’m sorry but you cannot ban flag-burning just because you’re offended by it. You have to learn to deal with your frustrations Steve.

I’m just sitting here calmly whereas you’re getting all red-faced and stamping your feet. Relax Steve.

Oh, and if you couldn’t express urself in a way that was “offensive” to the majority, then you wouldn’t be free.

  39. “Of course Franken did not have to file a suit in order to have a bogus recount with Secretary of State, Mark Ritchie on his side. Much like Franken’s key to success (since we know it is not with listeners or book sales), Ritchie was still paying off old debts to whack job George Soros who contributed $250,000 to Ritchie’s campaign on Septmber 2, 2006.”

I’m wondering where these complaints of “bogus” secretaries of state were when Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell were subverting democracy for your fascistic president. Now, I’ll explain this one more time, so let’s see if it sinks in: Minnesota law REQUIRES a recount in such a close election. It is automatic, regardless of who sits in the office of secretary of state. I somehow get the feeling that you wouldn’t be crying about it if Coleman was behind on election night, and the recount was triggered.

“What is the point of a re-count, Robert? $100K for a recount, but not everything is re-counted because not all of it is good news?”

A recount is required to insure the accuracy of the original count. Recounts have always, and will always differ from original counts, because they are recounted by hand. Hand recounts are always more reliable than machine counts. Also, I’m not sure if you know, but the Franken and Coleman camps were both in the room when challenged ballots were being decided upon, and they had to agree with each other on which ballots were going to be allowed in the recount. They agreed before they were counted, and now that Coleman lost, he wants other ballots that weren’t agreed on to be included. Now imagine if Franken did that, you’d be throwing a fit! But when someone on your side does it, it’s fine, right?

“But nowhere does it say we get to pick the precincts”

That’s for both parties to come to an agreement on. And they did. Now the loser’s trying to tell us it was unfair.

“Against Bill Clinton, in case you weren’t paying attention or ever heard of that magnificent book: “High Crimes and Misdemeanors.””

I actually haven’t heard of the book. I don’t read that swill, nor do I pay attention to when that bony whore releases another shitty book…

“Really, how can you say Reagan caused it when he hadn’t been President yet? Come out from moonland, please.”

Re: “Obama recession”. You know, that nonsensical talking point tossed out by druggie Limbaugh and Mark Levin’s puppet, Sean Hannity? And why was it that we had the worst recession since the Great Depression under Reagan, after he implemented his insane tax cuts? I suppose you’ll find a way to blame that on Carter too…

“No, it was not for weapons you moron”

Really? Then what the hell was this?

He said “my heart and my best intentions tell me we did not trade arms for hostages, but the facts and the evidence tell me we did”

Hear that Steve? Facts and evidence. Now who’s the moron?

“The fact is if the conspiratorial fantasy you have created in your head with regard to Reagan were true, you’d have to convince us that he was first friends with the Islamic nuts and conspired to overthrow the Shah with them.”

What does the Shah of Iran have to do with whether or not Reagan did what he did? And as far as conspiratorial fantasies go, I’ll have to refer you back to that video. Facts and evidence…

“Conservatives were not booing. It always has.”

Yeah, you don’t boo. You just try to get Michael Moore kicked off of college campuses, and send Tom DeLay staffers to Florida to bang on the doors of election officials and demand that recounts stop. Wait, come to think of it, you assholes were booing pretty loudly at Grandpa McCain’s loser speech…

“None of those numbers (with the exception of the $42M) were confirmed by the inaugural committee nor the District of Columbia.”

What? Read that article again, it says the $115.5 million was confirmed by the District of Columbia. Where the hell do you think the number came from?

“Speaking of spending, did you hear that tomorrow your Messiah is going to allow states to pass their own emissions laws meaning that in liberal leaning states, it will be virtually impossible to start your car unless you have the money to buy a hybrid?”

Yeah, we’d all be better off acting like brain dead conservatives by denying that the planet is in danger…

  40. “LOL. Nobody called for Obama to be murdered. Plus, the alleged “terrorist” remark was never proven”

Really? Let’s what what Faux News had to say about that:

Here’s the terrorist remark you claimed never happened:

Care to revise your idiotic statements?

  41. “Also, you seem very bigoted against the poor Steve”

See that, Steve? I’m not the only one who notices it. So hide behind your Christian rhetoric if you must, but your true colors show through regardless…

  42. “See that, Steve? I’m not the only one who notices it. So hide behind your Christian rhetoric if you must, but your true colors show through regardless…”

Wow, that really hit home. I need a Kleenex, I need a hug.

I need – everything but enough work to do.

    LOL, just humor you know.
