Shannyn Moore: The Liberals’ “Hero”

It’s okay to be a hero.  Being a hero gives one a sense of honor.  Along with honor comes compassion, decency, and respect.  Not just respect for ourselves, but also respect for others around us.  Being a hero commands an essence of fairness and requires an understanding of truth and facts before taking action.

Did anyone ever see an episode of Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman where either one of the three captured or brought down someone without using their super powers to gain the absolute truth about one of their bad guys before taking action?  If so, I’d like to see them.  Then again, those shows had plots which were written decades ago – back when someone like Shannyn Moore would be forced to pay dire consequences for her irresponsiblity and her candid apparent starve for attention regardless of the cost to others.

Shannyn Moore “reported rumors.”  This is her defense.  And its this defense that has readers of the Bluffington Post declaring “Shannyn is a hero in my book.”

If that book had a title, I wonder what it would be.  The Adventures of the Rumor-Reporting Alaskan?

Shannyn Moore; on her webpage, led others to believe (or in her words: “reported rumors”) that Sarah Palin may be under federal investigation.  Immediately, the FBI answered and said such rumors were absolutely false.  Did Shannyn Moore apologize?  No, she gave a speech in front of Sarah Palin’s office portraying HERSELF as the victim and Palin as the “bully” and “coward.”

If indeed Shannyn Moore was not a guest on MSNBC or never wrote blather that winds up on the Bluffington Post or in “articles” that pop up on internet search engines when one selects “news”, I wouldn’t be complaining.  But, this is someone Keith Olbermann (I know, just go with me for a minute) uses as a reference and has as a guest on his show whenever they want to report another ethics probe-canard against Sarah Palin.

Everyone of them (18 in one year) were won by Sarah Palin in which they found nothing wrong.  Even though Alaskans footed the bill for the legal fees and even though Sarah Palin had to pay in the neighborhood of $600K out of her own pocket to cater to these lunatics everytime MSNBC wanted to throw a worm to Shannyn Moore for more gossip on the soon-to-be ex-governor.

After Palin announced her resignation, it was brought to Palin’s attention that this woman was contributing to the spread of these false rumors.  The response from Palin’s attorney is stated below in another post addressing Ms. Moore directly.

Now, this woman is going on Keith Olbermann’s show AGAIN tonight to talk about this issue.  In the video above, it is astonishing how this woman – this scumbag and sorry excuse for someone who could possibly report ANYTHING – and be used by a “news” organization like MSNBC, can state the First Amendment as defense in her response to Sarah Palin.  How about an apology?

The audacity one must have to claim being a victim and to be bullied by Palin when indeed it was this woman who helped bring many of these bogus ethics charges against Palin is off the charts.

JohnInCa sent an article in a previous forum stating that if Sarah Palin decides to follow through with her plans to sue someone like Shannyn Moore, that it could cost Moore thousands of dollars…..she deserves it…..and it needs to be immediately known that not only does this woman continue to hold her head high after stooping so low for attention, but that MSNBC and others in the media will continue to use her as a credible guest on their programs.

Any liberal that shows up, I challenge you to look through every post on this blog and find one false rumor peddled about any liberal politican as if it were fact.

Never.

This woman needs to grow up and deserves the legal beating of her life.

  1. How comes in our nation when someone works his or her way up in the world they become a target of ridicule and endless attacks?

Did Sarah Palin drive a car off a bridge and kill someone?

Did she bone a guy in the Alaska Governor’s office and discover a new way to use a cigar?

Did she spend $80K on male hustlers?

Did she try to score some airport restroom sex?

I don’t know what the cause is of this malignant dislike of people who defy the odds and reach unthinkable levels of success. But, too much of this riducle will discourage people from reaching for the stars. That is not good for our nation.

  2. Shannyn Moore, “…I don’t think it’s wrong to report a rumor exists?”

The above was said at the 2:00 minute mark.

    What the [BLEEP]!?!?!?!?

Is she stupid? Is she crazy? Both?

I heard a rumor that [fill in the blank] likes to shoot heroin and molest little boys.

A rumor like that can vaporize a person’s reputation for good.

Then she dodges the question of responsibility that follows. But I’d expect that from a liberal because responsibility does not exist to liberals.

So, this is what it has come to regarding the liberal assault against Sarah Palin? Those is how low they have to scrape?

    Unbleeping beleivable.

  3. Wah, cry me a river.

“Any liberal that shows up, I challenge you to look through every post on this blog and find one false rumor peddled about any liberal politican as if it were fact.”

    Steve, on June 5th, said:

“Because all those abortion-loving Americans are tuning in to hear Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, Franken couldn’t quite take the heat. What better bandaid than to steal an election?”

    And:

“Franken votes miraculously turn up from cars of election workers”

You most certainly, and regularly, peddle rumors and heresay, not to mention outright lies, as fact all the fucking time. Please don’t pretend that you’re any better than this Moore person…

  4. Robert –

1.) It is a fact that Rush and Sean have more listeners and are more successful talk show hosts and authors; therefore, life in the free market works better for them than someone like Franken who was better off in a government position where his salary was guaranteed.

2.) It was also a fact that liberal poll-workers in Minnesota had votes – one in particular – that were delivered after Coleman initally WON the election before the recount began.

This is VERY different than saying Sarah Palin is under federal investigation. No contest. For you to compare anything I wrote to that kind of trash speaks volumes.

It’s difficult looking in the mirror I am sure to see the facts. Palin was never found guilty of ethical wrongdoing in one of the 18 ethics complaints these lunatics brought against her.

Knowing someone like this is part of your Palin-hating clan and shows up on Olbermann quite frequently I am certain explains your need to exaggerate anything anyone writes on here, but with anyone who knows the context of what I write versus this true Caribou Barbie from Alaska whos that kind of characterization won’t fly.

Try a new tact next time.

  5. “It was also a fact that liberal poll-workers in Minnesota had votes – one in particular – that were delivered after Coleman initally [sic] WON the election before the recount began.”

No, that is not true. All the ballots were secured in a city facility. If the rumor mill had any truth to it, someone would be in jail for keeping them in the trunk of a car. There is not one shred of evidence in existence to substantiate your wild accusations, hence, they are rumors that you pretend are facts. You do the same thing you are decrying someone else for, and that makes you a hypocrite.

“For you to compare anything I wrote to that kind of trash speaks volumes.”

For you to write the kind of trash you wrote in the first place speaks volumes too. You seem to think that finding twelve unopened ballots sealed the deal for Franken, when in reality, he won by over 300 votes. And what exactly makes you think that those ballots were all for Franken in the first place? Your entire logic is flawed and ridiculous.

“Palin was never found guilty of ethical wrongdoing in one of the 18 ethics complaints these lunatics brought against her.”

Hence, the fact that she was found guilty of abusing her power as governor. My God, you’re delusional. And need I remind you that on this panel of “lunatics” had more republicans than democrats?

“Knowing someone like this is part of your Palin-hating clan and shows up on Olbermann quite frequently”

Palin hating? Nobody hates her. The only people who give a fuck about her quitting are the people on this site! It’s pathetic. Where are all the liberals you claim come out of the woodwork when you mention her? The only people who commented on your bullshit post are you, Mel, and Phillip. But, yup, the rest of us liberals can’t wait to pounce on the next Steve authored Palin post. What a chump…

  6. “Franken’s campaign said that a dozen “UOCAVA” ballots had been found in a Minneapolis-area warehouse by election officials searching for 133 ballots gone missing during the hand recount in the urban center’s 3rd ward, 1st precinct. The ballots come from uniformed and overseas voters and were previously unopened and counted, Franken officials said.”

On election night, Al Franken lost initially in the first count. Afterwards, ballots started turning up from all over the place. Not only was the car and the warehouse story comical but other ballots where one name was marked then rubbed off – then another filled in, yet the check mark was inches away from Franken’s name instead of a circle – then the recount in heavily liberal precincts such as the college town where some votes were counted twice, etc. etc.

The entire nonsense about recounts, Mr. Robert, was a platform you guys set up in 2000. If George Bush had miraculously started bringing in new ballots from warehouses and cars, and having only heavily Republican areas re-counted in the early days of the famed re-count, I cannot even imagine what we would have had to put up with.

Mr. Franken himself; like any other liberal, continued to do this. In both 2000 and 2004 both Gore and Kerry conceded and knew there was no need for further legal action. Yet, liberals continued to whine for eight entire years.

So now when Franken comes around and has ballots brought in and thrown in his favor and re-counted 75 times, don’t be a baby when we really have something to speculate over. The quote above was “reporting a rumor.” It was fact.

“You seem to think that finding twelve unopened ballots sealed the deal for Franken, when in reality, he won by over 300 votes.”

No, I never said that. I said that for many of the various reasons I already cited is why people have speculated before and will always speculate because of the structure YOUR PEOPLE helped set up back in 2000. A case of unfair counting can definitely be made more in the case of Franken versus Bush/Gore 2000. Of course, not to you. Shall I wonder why?

“Hence, the fact that she was found guilty of abusing her power as governor. My God, you’re delusional. And need I remind you that on this panel of “lunatics” had more republicans than democrats?”

No, she was not found guilty of abusing her power for the dismissal of Walt Monegan. The first investigation revealed that her husband used her office to contact other state officials for firing Mike Wooten (which never happened). A second investigation was held and she was cleared on the entire thing but in NEITHER investigation was she found guilty of abusing her power to fire anyone. The first investigation’s findings which is the only thing you have to stand on (regarding Palin’s husband) is like getting a frownie face on your paper. Couple that with the second investigation that wiped the first one out, we have an innocent verdict, ALONG WITH THE 17 OTHER CASES BROUGHT AGAINST HER.

” The only people who give a fuck about her quitting are the people on this site! It’s pathetic.”

Shannyn Moore herself was right about one thing….the day Palin resigned, it knocked Michael Jackson out of the number one news slot. Watch the video above! How many liberals care about Sarah Palin since her resignation? Let’s see:

….These are just the ones released today. These don’t count other left wing blogs and the loons on MSNBC who’ve done nothing but talk about this up until the kick off of Jackson’s memorial service tonight.

And in this particular thread – so far – it’s yourself and John who’s commented. You’ve never been able to resist before, and here you are again now….

I’ve never shared a disagreement with Mel on anything, and Phil and I agree on most things but have disagreed on others. And that’s allowed.

The media’s blatant treatment of Sarah Palin and her family. Not having the same respect for her children that Obama demanded for his. The false messages that led others to believe that she was unaccomplished, stupid, a criminal, a power-abuser, a religious fanatic, a homophobe, a woman who denied women rape kits, a book banner, etc……..this is a massive problem that is important to me and is something that liberals will be unable to do to her now as she moves forward in the lower 48 now that she isn’t restrained to Alaska anymore.

I like Sarah Palin and I like the fact that liberals react to her like they react to Ann Coulter. No matter how irrelevant you attempt to make her, you’re always here to offer your two cents and all the liberals at the Huffington Post directly seem to have their computer keyboards handy everytime.

So; go ahead, prove yourself right for once and just shut up about it.

  7. “On election night, Al Franken lost initially in the first count. Afterwards, ballots started turning up from all over the place”

No, it’s called a manual hand recount, you turd. Recounts are ALWAYS more accurate than original counts, because original counts are done by machines. You’re so wrapped up in the idiotic theory that Franken stole the election, that for months, you refused to even acknowledge the LAW of the state. The law that REQUIRES an AUTOMATIC recount if the results are within 1/2%. You, along with idiot boy Norm Coleman, found something reprehensible about following the law (typical con). He bitched and moaned about how a recount would be so traumatic for the state of Minnesota, and told us how it would cost the state millions. Lo and behold, once he was on the losing end, he made it his mission to drag everything into court, costing the state and the GOP many millions of dollars. He vowed to keep fighting a losing battle, constituents be damned. It took a 5-0 Supreme Court decision to force that douchebag to concede. So, no, votes did not mysteriously “appear” out of nowhere, and if it’s your contention that they did, I’m sure at least one judge would have came to the same conclusion.

“then the recount in heavily liberal precincts such as the college town where some votes were counted twice, etc. etc.”

The whole state was recounted, why is this not sinking in? The entire state’s ballots were recounted. Here you are, once again, attempting to pass off lies as facts. Never, EVER, have votes been counted twice. EVER. You are a paranoid partisan who can’t deal with rejection. Your party was rebuked at every level of government, but still you’re here clinging to the reality defying notion that a Minnesota Senate seat was stolen. Accept the fact that the election was fair, all ballots that were challenged were agreed upon by both parties, the results are final, and move on.

“The entire nonsense about recounts, Mr. Robert, was a platform you guys set up in 2000”

Are you sincerely trying to compare the two?

“If George Bush had miraculously started bringing in new ballots from warehouses and cars, and having only heavily Republican areas re-counted in the early days of the famed re-count, I cannot even imagine what we would have had to put up with.”

If George Bush had agreed to the premise of a recount in the first place, instead of suing his opponent on the basis of, and I quote, “continuing to count ballots will cause irreparable harm to candidate Bush”, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Haven’t you ever bothered to question why the Supreme Court came out and said that you can’t use this case as precedent, this was a one time deal, we’ll never rule like that in the future?

“In both 2000 and 2004 both Gore and Kerry conceded and knew there was no need for further legal action. Yet, liberals continued to whine for eight entire years.”

Maybe it’s perhaps because neither election was actually won by the Republican candidate. In 2000, Bush had to literally disenfranchise black voters to win, and STILL lost after all the counting was finished. Yeah, the results showed up in the newspaper in the middle of September 2001, when no one cared about it. And in 2004, your lovely little republicans screwed the good people of Ohio electronically. Vote flipping, caging, and shorting democratic districts on voting machines were just a few of the dirty tricks you used to steal an election, and you still lost! Exit polling, which has never, in the history of its use been wrong, called the election for Kerry, but miraculously, Bush was “re-elected”. That ruined it forever; exit polling is no longer used for fear that some other scumbag republican can manage to wrangle more voted than registered voters. So, yeah, that’s why people “whined” for 8 years, because they suffered for 8 years. They suffered needlessly because some failure couldn’t risk failing one last time. And it costs us dearly. Five million people slipped into poverty. Three million more lost their health care. The average savings rate dropped to negative territory. The rich got richer and the poor got poorer, just like republicans like it.

“So now when Franken comes around and has ballots brought in and thrown in his favor and re-counted 75 times, don’t be a baby when we really have something to speculate over”

The winner can’t be the baby, genius. And you’re doing more than speculating, you’re making shit up out of whole cloth. You choose to either believe lies, or peddle them shamelessly, because that’s just how partisan you are. Were there any complaints from Minnesota voters about any funny business? No, as a matter of fact, a majority of Minnesotans wanted Coleman to concede. It’s clear as day that he lost, fair and square, but you can’t seem to handle that, so you bring up legitimate election fraud like 2000 and 2004 and try to turn logic on its ear. It’s really quite remarkable, the things you’re willing to ignore to try to make your case…

“No, I never said that. I said that for many of the various reasons I already cited is why people have speculated before and will always speculate because of the structure YOUR PEOPLE helped set up back in 2000.”

Who is people? Crazy right wing blogs? Find me one person in an official capacity that agrees with your bullshit and then we can have this discussion.

“A case of unfair counting can definitely be made more in the case of Franken versus Bush/Gore 2000. Of course, not to you. Shall I wonder why?”

See what I mean, you are so fucking backwards it’s kind of sad. Did Franken sue his opponent? No. Did Franken create a bogus list of felons to prevent an entire race from voting? No. Did Franken try to stop the counting of votes in any way? No. These cases are as different as black and white, yet you’d have us believe that one is more legitimate than the other, when no evidence exists to back that up. None.

“No, she was not found guilty of abusing her power for the dismissal of Walt Monegan”

Oh, my bad. I sincerely apologize, Steve. See, I thought that this:

“I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110 (a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act,”

meant something that it obviously does not mean to you. That was really my mistake for thinking that the above statement actually meant to portray innocence. It won’t happen again.

“How many liberals care about Sarah Palin since her resignation?”

Holy shit, Steve found a political figure’s resignation in a political story on a political website! I am shocked! Really, nine out of ten from the same site? Bang up job, Stevie. The same number of stories would have been found if Mark Sanford resigned, or if Bobby Jindal resigned, or if Schwarzenegger resigned. But leave it to you to put a positive spin on someone resigning their post in the middle of a term.

“And in this particular thread – so far – it’s yourself and John who’s commented. You’ve never been able to resist before, and here you are again now….”

Yeah, except, like always, I didn’t come here to talk about her, you brought her up, as usual. I came in here to meet your idiotic challenge, and when I prove you wrong, you proceed to let me know that the premise of the question was not what you meant it to be.

“Not having the same respect for her children that Obama demanded for his”

Oh, boo fucking hoo. It’s no one’s fault but that of an irresponsible teenager that she fucked some dimwit and wound up pregnant. If Obama’s daughter did that, you psychos would have had the ultimate field day, and don’t pretend that isn’t the absolute fucking truth. You and I both know that you would have pointed to that as the failings of liberal parents, and said they didn’t know how to raise their child, and as such, were not fit to run the country. The fact that you will no doubt deny this will be biggest performance you give all day.

“No matter how irrelevant you attempt to make her, you’re always here to offer your two cents and all the liberals at the Huffington Post directly seem to have their computer keyboards handy everytime.”

Dude, I don’t have to do anything. She’s making herself irrelevant. Even republicns can’t figure out what the hell she’s doing. I’m pretty sure the only people besides you to try to put a positive spin on it are Bill Kristol and Rush Limbaugh. Evan Jonah Goldberg thinks she’s fucking up, telling her:

“you’re still taking flak, but not because you strike fear in the hearts of Democrats. You’re taking flak because you’re striking fear in the hearts of Republicans. For Democrats, fairly or not, you’ve become a laughingstock.”

I mean, have you ever told your boss you were quitting a project halfway through because “only dead fish go with the flow”? This woman’s an idiot, I say good riddance, the people of Alaska are better off, Palin said so herself. I think Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Eugene Robinson said it best when he opined:

“There are basically two reasons the political class and the commentariat continue to speak and write about Palin as if she were a substantial figure whose presence on the national stage is anything but a cruel, unfunny joke. The first is fear — not of Palin and her know-nothing legions, but of being painted as elitist and sexist”

“So; go ahead, prove yourself right for once and just shut up about it.”

Oh, if only you’d shut up period…
