Sarah Raises $733K in Six Months

Just out today, in a non-election cycle/year, SarahPAC has raised $732,867.70.  Good job, Sarah!

All of this while she was muzzled as Governor.  Now that she can travel on a more national level, can you imagine how high that number is going to fly up in future reporting periods?

  1. “Now that she can travel on a more national level, can you imagine how high that number is going to fly up in future reporting periods?”

Hmmn. I think she stands to raise plenty of money. But the Obama may not like her pushing into his spot light and he has two known weapons to use against her:

    1. His friend Bill Ayers can make a bomb and have someone else set it off.

    2. The Rev. Wright can always play the race card too.

I think Sarah Plain will have her hands full…full of money that is!!!

  2. Ha, that’s an abysmal amount in two quarters. If she made that in a single month it might be something to get excited about.

  3. Godless (at least your honest, btw), the idea is that she was stuck in Alaska doing absolutely nothing. She just lost a VP run, and she still managed to raise a considerable amount of money.

With her power and popularity on the national stage and in the lower 48, I am saying those numbers are going to fly up.

  4. “She just lost a VP run, and she still managed to raise a considerable amount of money.”

That’s interesting that you use that as defense for the small amount she made, when in reality her VP ticket is the only reason she made that much. It’s not a lot, it’s nothing. It’s not even a lot for a Congressional post.

I agree with one thing, “she was stuck in Alaska doing absolutely nothing.” Literally, nothing. And that’s why she quit, so she can get out of Alaska and try and make some serious money for herself.

  5. Godless, I guess you are comparing the money Palin Pac raised to what Obama received during th election.

He brought in millions of dollars that have never been fully covered by any accounting measures. No one has investigated that money fully. He didn’t give it back.

By all appearances it is dirty money.

So if you really want to get into money people have brought in, then I say we check out the pretend grass roots money that Soros shifted to the Obama campaign.

Then lets demand a full accounting for ACORN and all of it’s subsidies.

Once we understand how and where they got their money, you might realize that the fact Palin’s was real grass roots money is of value to real Americans.

  6. “when in reality her VP ticket is the only reason she made that much”

The “only reason” is because people love her. The election had been over for months before SarahPAC was founded.

“Literally, nothing. And that’s why she quit”

Dork – she worked hard as Governor. If there were any reason her duties as Governor were muzzled, it’s because of the crazy libs who kept filing ethics complaints against her.

Nobody raises that much money just for starting a PAC. You usually have to be set-in-stone as to running for something or it has to be within a couple years of a big election.

Sarah’s awesome, and judging by your tone (with a name like “Godless” no less) against her, I see precisely why she was able to raise so much.

  7. @libby48
Do you have sources for those claims is that just more smoke?

    @steveflesher
Really, what has she done as governor of Alaska? She’s accomplished nothing. She’s made a lot of money from per diem pay though, that’s the newest ethics complaint against her.

Secondly, many of those ethics complaints were filed before she was McCain’s running mate. Troopergate, for example, was already up and running when McCain picked her. Also, conservatives have been filing ethics complaints against her too. Why? Because she’s unethical and a megalomaniac.

  8. “Also, conservatives have been filing ethics complaints against her too. Why?”

No, REPUBLICANS have–because she called out several Republican representatives from Alaska for corruption. Some of their connections have a lot of reasons to file bogus ethics complaints. I’m curious to know what your excuse is for the absolute failure of any investigation to turn up any ethics violations.

“Do you have sources for those claims is that just more smoke?”

If you go through the lists of contributors for Obama’s election campaign, before the elections there were literally hundreds of very low-dollar contributions under fictitious names (I don’t know how many times I saw names like “Homer Simpson” on the list). It’s all there. Just go look it up.

  9. “Really, what has she done as governor of Alaska?”

If you have to ask that question, it truly shows how ignorant you are in terms of the typical liberal argument. Most liberal arguments sound the same, yet one liberal comes along with an even stupider response. For future postings, you’re at least supposed to acknowledge her successes but degrade them as some horrid conspiracy for her to force everyone into churches with witch Doctors from Africa.

Alaska has/had the largest surplus in the country under her tenure. She took care of crooks from both parties. She took a very important step for gay rights. She kept taxes low. She took on big oil and got Alaskans back their hard-earned money. She laid the first pipeline from Alaska to Canada making a major breakthrough in true energy independence that does not involve bankrupting the coal industry OR raising everyone’s utility bills in the lower 48.

While liberals talk progress, Sarah Palin actually made it.

“Secondly, many of those ethics complaints were filed before she was McCain’s running mate.”

Actually, thankfully, there is a true commission now to find out who the source to these ethics complaints were AND how the source was funded. 18 of the 19 stupid ethics complaints, in which all of them she won, were filed within the last year. YES, it was crazy liberals.

However; if in fact you are stating here that Sarah Palin did not have a bias making her a true and fair candidate and that conservatives hated her in Alaska, too….be my guest. I’m thrilled that an extremist with the name “Godless” with too much time on his hands can acknowledge her fairness and integrity as a candidate.

  10. “I agree with one thing, “she was stuck in Alaska doing absolutely nothing.” Literally, nothing. And that’s why she quit, so she can get out of Alaska and try and make some serious money for herself.”

You say that like it is a bad thing? There are more people living in my county than Alaska. I am surprised a state with so few people has a Governor or legislature. Neither are necessary because so few people live there.

  11. Mel,

she has been found at fault in at least one of those ethic scandals, Troopergate. She was found to have acted unethically, and no further action was taken.
Secondly, there are still three open, and a fourth on the way.

John, I do say that as a bad thing because comparitively, Alaska receives one of the highest returns on their federal tax dollars. They get more put into their state then comes out of their state.

Palin is biased; not against Dems, not against liberals, per se, but against anyone and everyone that stands in her way. She loves herself and nothing else.

Steve, you are a idiot. She hasn’t laid any pipe, they’ve only started the talks on that and haven’t finished all the details. In fact, her leaving office may halt that taking place even longer. I know she’s been saying that she done it, but nothing has been done yet. Same old lying, same old tactics; divert attention, black is white, and the truth is always negotiable.

It’s too bad that instead of actually looking into her actions you simply take her for what she says. You accept the lip-service, I’ll do the thinking.

Thanks guys and gals it’s been fun. And you’ve only reminded me that dumb is not a trait solely belonging to the straight, white males that make up the majority of the conservative movement. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the benefits and the rights that liberals fight for while siding with the fascist Republican party.

Mel, I’d be happy to check it out if you’ve got a source! Where did you find that information? A little birdie told me that you heard it from Fox or Rush and haven’t “looked” at any list.

  12. “She was found to have acted unethically, and no further action was taken.”

First, she was not unethical in firing anyone because nobody was fired. Walt Monegan left state service after Palin tried to replace him somewhere else. Mike Wooten is still employed to taser his kid and to make threats, you will be happy to know. The “ethical” questioning was in regards to Todd Palin using her office, which spouses of Governors do all the time. Moreover; a second investigation was done ruling out the first where nothing was found unethical. If in fact you had something better on her, you’d use it. But you know as well as I do that the other 18 were crazy charges filed by idiot liberals who were jealous of her.

“She loves herself and nothing else.”

Nonsense, do you even know what the details of the alleged steps were? Was someone wrongfully accused and dealt with inappropriately by Palin in the Alaskan Senate or the prior Governor who had the plane that she sold? No, you cannot. So stop stupidly speculating while you simultaneously tell anyone with a belief in God how speculative they are.

    “She hasn’t laid any pipe”

You really think I meant she put on overalls and grabbed a shovel?

” they’ve only started the talks on that and haven’t finished all the details”

Nonsense, false, a lie. Actually materials have been prepped in her state long before she was even selected for VP. Moreover; she made “progress” while your liberals kept talking about it. That’s the fact and that’s what pisses you off.

“You accept the lip-service, I’ll do the thinking.”

There isn’t thinking involved with facts, experience, and truth. It’s all out there and of course you’ll mull it over 75 times to “think” of ways to cast negative connotations onto those facts and statistics, but honestly, much more clever attempts have been made by the left so none of us here are impressed.

“Thanks guys and gals it’s been fun. And you’ve only reminded me that dumb is not a trait solely belonging to the straight, white males that make up the majority of the conservative movement. ”

Nah, we’ll look for the cool and hip ones like Howard Dean, John Murtha, Al Gore, Teddy Kennedy, or Jimmy Carter. Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity – those bunch of old men will have to step aside.

Gosh, I think I just resorted.

Finally, at least Rush and every host on Fox has the sack to go toe-to-toe with alternate viewpoints on their shows. You give me one link where Keith Olbermann has done the same thing, then we’ll give you right to criticize a fair and balanced media outlet like Fox News.

You only hate Fox and Rush because the conservative voice is uncensored and conservatives simply make better arguments than you. If that weren’t a fact, Keith Olbermann would have debated someone on his show and he wouldn’t be one of the weakest rated cable shows in cable-news history.
