Why Aren’t They Listening?

No, I am not talking about Obamacare, though I probably could.

Gallup: “59% to 36%, more Americans believe accused Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed should be tried in a military court, rather than in a civilian criminal court.”

  1. Because Eric Holder the Attorney General is an idiot. He says that in this country criminals don’t get to choose the venue of their prosecution. How wrong can he be?

Has Eric Holder ever heard of such legal motions as Change of Venue? Doesn’t he know that jurisdiction can be challenged at any stage of the legal process? Defendants have a good measure of power to choose their day in court and their location too.

I also think he wants the grandstand glory of getting a conviction too. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has taken plenty of the game out of it by offering a guilty plea (his legal right) and demanding the death penalty (something he cannot request). Mohammed is ruining Eric Holders chance for courtroom glory and that has to annoy that idiot Holder to no end.
